This stated late afternoon as users could not have access to their accounts.
Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram have experienced a sudden failed connection.
Making everyone think. It is their internet service providers who are having issues with their servers.
At first, it appears to be a thing of normal downtime on an ISP but it then starts to become a reality that the downtime isn’t from ISP but from the major social media platforms WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram.
Though this is a global issue, the downtime started in Nigeria on October 4, 2021 around 4:30pm.

WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram are owned by one company and an individual whose name Is Mark Zuckerberg the founder of Facebook.
Mark bought WhatsApp in 2014 and Instagram in 2012. Over a total $20billion.
This social media platforms are believed to be lunch on one server which then could be the cause of the downtime everyone is experiencing.
It means if the server is down then the three social media platforms owned by Mark Zuckerberg will be down.
However, this could as well not be a server downtime but an upgrade in server.
