Nigerian Embassy In Ireland Illegally collecting a sum of €100 from Nigerians applying for passports.

In the correct state, the rise of the dollar and €100 in Nigeria is equivalent to 47,000 Naira in exchange which the Ireland embassy illegally collects from applicants.

According to a Saharareport, it is said that this isn’t the first time the Nigerian Embassy in Dublin illegally collects additional money from people who applied for a passport.

The Nigerian Embassy workers in Ireland have made it compulsory for applicants to submit with their application a €100 postal order, N47,000 in exchange to Nigeria currency which is not addressed to anyone in particular.

This exhausting sum of money has no root to where it goes after paying, it is believed that the workers at the Nigerian Embassy of Ireland keep the money to themselves while they later share it. Source claim.

This fraudulent activities stopped for a while after the departure of the former Nigerian Ambassador to Ireland, Dr (Mrs) Uzoma Emenike, but continued immediately after he left the office.
