It was also reported by Sahara report that Access bank and Holy Ghost junction has brought down their flags.
It didn’t just end there but a beginning, as Zenith Bank at Onitsha in Anambra has pulled down the Nigerian flag from their poles too.
United Bank for Africa (UBA), Owerri Road branch, Onitsha removed and pulled the flags off.”
Chika Edoziem, one of the executives of IPOB said on Friday that the separatist group would lock down the entire South-East region on October 1.
It has to be a day of celebration for the birth of a nation which Mark’s her 61st Independence Day.
But it is clear that things are likely not to go in that direction as it is directed by the Birafia’s for a total shut down in the south east of the country.
There shall be no movement in Biafra land on the 1st of October as Biafra takes charge of the south east of Nigeria and urges everyone to respect this decision by staying at home on Independence day.
IPOB leadership kin to communicate peacefully to the banks in order to obediently bring down their flag. A form of saying “a word is enough for the wise” unless we come down and bring the flag down in our own way.
