Naira Marley unfinished business continues as several credit card numbers extracted from his phone.
Afeez Fashola popularly known as Naira Marley, testified on Tuesday appeared before Justice Nicholas Oweibo of the Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos.
On an 11-count charge bordering on conspiracy, possession of counterfeit credit cards and fraud, some credit card numbers with a total of 2,410 messages was found, extracted and analyzed in the defendants phone log
After which Naira Marley pleaded not guilty to the arraignment by the EFCC on May 20, 2019.
Augustine Anosike, an expert with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Naira Marley’s cases confirmed that all analysed texts were contained in a Compact Disc (CD); that the prosecution only printed out those portions it considered material to its case.
The case at which Naira stands as a suspect of fraud of over 2,410, messages of credit cards on May 20, 2019 was adjourned to October 27, 2021, for the prosecution to play the CD on a projector.
